The United States of an African

I just want to put it out there that I met so many friendly people in New York. I honestly have yet to meet the mean New Yorkers people always talk about. Everyone was so nice and helpful, even when we asked the obnoxious “How do I get to there from here?” or “How does the subway work?”

Our main way of transportation was pretty much split between walking and riding the subway, in addition to the late night Uber rides back to our apartment.
